The last few days, I have been studying a lot about prayer. Prayer has always had a big role in my life, but I now have an increased love and appreciation for it. It is such a blessing that we have to be able to talk to our Heavenly Father through prayer. When combined with faith, our prayers can become a very powerful blessing in our lives. I found a scripture in the Old Testament that speaks about prayer, "He shall pray unto God, and he will be favourable unto him and he shall see his face with joy: for he will render unto man his righteousness." -Job 33:26 I love this verse.
We are promised that if we pray unto God, then He will render unto us His righteousness. I have seen this promise be fulfilled in my life as I pray. After my prayers, I always receive strength when I most need it. I receive peace when I am stressed. I receive comfort when I am forgiven. I am so thankful for the ability we have to pray to our Heavenly Father and receive His Spirit. I admonish you all to improve your prayers. Make them more personal and pour out your heart to God. He will bless you with exactly what you need, right when you need it. I can promise you that. I pray that we all can come closer to our Heavenly Father daily and be strengthened and guided in all that we do. Let us all live our lives always having a prayer of faith in our hearts.
